On Tuesday, Mumbai Police officers visited Allahbadia’s residence after several complaints were lodged against him on Monday. The controversy stems from a comment he made to a contestant on ‘India’s Got Latent’, a show hosted by comedian Samay Raina. Authorities have named Allahbadia, along with influencer Apoorva Makhija and others associated with the episode, in multiple First Information Reports (FIRs). Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also addressed the issue, stating, “Everyone has freedom of speech, but this freedom ends when we encroach upon others’ freedom. Everyone has limits; if anyone crosses them, action will be taken.”

The incident has not only led to legal action but has also been a topic of discussion in Parliament. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for previously endorsing Allahbadia, highlighting the need for caution in promoting public figures.
